Travel and colour inspire my jewellery.  I gather the beads and amulets from all the corners of the world that I can reach, and upon my return design and string them together in a colourful and eclectic mix.  I use glass (often recycled), ceramic, bone, wood, semi-precious stone, silver and bronze beads.   Every necklace is unique, and many of the components have been used and traded time and again throughout the last century, sometimes even longer.  

I have a passion for colour, working with it in different fields all my life.  Creating this ethnic jewellery seems not only to satisfy my need to play with colour and beautiful shapes, but also my yearning to travel, and my magpie like desire to collect.
