	Many of my photographs have been taken whilst pursuing another ‘hobby’, that of travelling  The photo here is one that I took early one morning in the Serengeti. I love the starkness of the tree against the gathering darkness of the sky behind. Travelling is an enriching experience and offers the photographer such a variety of different and interesting landscapes as well as local life, both human and wild As well as being an active member of Brighton & Hove Camera Club, last year I achieved my Licentiateship accreditation to the Royal Photographic Society and am now working towards an Associateship This will be the third time I have participated in the Brighton Artists Open Houses exhibition
