Kirsten Kinvara Jewellery
uses carefully sourced antique elements which are incorporated into sleek modern pieces of jewellery.
Victorian pressed glass buttons displaying intricate designs and motifs are combined with the simple clean lines of the jewellery acting as a frame, which supports and re presents the glass to put focus on details otherwise lost amongst folds of clothing.
Some pieces are oxidised and gold plates are used to add drama and richness and to emphasise the different metallics found in the glass.
The collection includes more traditional items such as hat pins and cuf?inks as well as more quirky modern pieces, oversized pendants on lengths of suede and medal style brooches and single earrings with cascading chains areamongst but a few in this fusion of old and new.
